Thurman has been in the field for many years and obtained his certification through Saddleback Valley Human Services Department. He ensures the clients at 449 Recovery get the individualized care they deserve as well as helps them gain deeper understanding of their addiction. Thurman is an important part of the transformation of all of the 449 clients.
Lauren joined the 449 Recovery team in 2015 and is a vital part of the clinical team. She earned her Bachelors in Human Development from California State University, San Marcos as well as her certification for drug and alcohol counseling through Saddleback Valley Human Services Department. Walking with clients through early recovery is important to Lauren as well as being a part of the family dynamics at 449 Recovery.
Therese earned her Bachelors in Human Development with an emphasis on Mental Health at California State University, Fullerton and is also a member of the California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators. As a case manager at 449 Recovery it is important to her to listen to clients and understand their situation as well as to be fair, faithful, and truthful to every client.
Gary has been in the field for many years and is a valued asset to our 449 Recovery clinical team. He is a member of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals and holds a CAADC II. Gary is proud of the opportunities 449 Recovery affords clients, whether they choose to get sober now or not.
Erika’s responsibilities include assessing clients over the phone, prior to admission as well as completing their necessary assessments upon arrival. With a strong background in crisis intervention and many years in the field, she is a big part of the clinical team at 449 Recovery. She obtained her certification in crisis intervention and drug and alcohol counseling through Intercoast College and is proud to be part of a team that works together to provide individualized care for its clients.
Darin has been with 449 Recovery since 2013 and is a key player of the clinical team. After obtaining his drug and alcohol counseling certification he went on to pursue his Associates degree at Cypress College. Darin appreciates the freedom he has with 449 Recovery to work with clients as he sees fit and the diversity in both staff and the client population.
Cherlyn was welcomed onto the 449 Recovery clinical team in 2014. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and has worked with varying populations over her career, including veterans, chronically homeless clients, and those with developmental disabilities. Cherlyn is proud to work in a treatment center where the camaraderie and passion for clients is so evident.
Amanda joined the 449 Recovery clinical team in early 2014 with 4 years of counseling experience. She received her drug and alcohol counseling certification from Intercoast College in 2010. Amanda loves working for a company that is a tight knit family and provides that home away from home for its clients.
Kenny has been part of the 449 Recovery team since 2014 and quickly assumed the role of Assistant Clinical Director. He obtained his certification through Intercoast College in 2006 and has been counseling for the past 10 years. Kenny is proud to work for a company that is determined to provide the best care possible for their clients.
After receiving her certification through Saddleback College in 2013, Tracey joined the 449 Recovery clinical team. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton and has plans to continue her education and get an advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Tracey is happy to work at 449 Recovery and be a part of the family atmosphere.
Kendall has been with 449 Recovery since 2014 and is a key component of the clinical team. She obtained her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and is completing her advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Kendall enjoys working at 449 Recovery because of the strong sense of community and inclusiveness.
Jacqueline is an invaluable member of the 449 Recovery clinical team. After graduating with her BA in Psychology from Biola University she went on to earn her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. She’s experienced in community mental health, residential adolescent mental health and addiction recovery. Her passion is people and considers it a privilege to be a part of each client’s process of healing and growth here at 449 Recovery.
Andrew is responsible for developing working relationships and networking within the recovery industry. After graduating from University of Nevada, Las Vegas he went on to pursue his certification to become a chemical dependency counselor at Centaur College. He’s been part of the 449 family since 2014 and plays an active role in maintaining the family environment here at 449 Recovery.
Luke works to cultivate and develop relationships with local treatment centers in order to keep 449 Recovery thriving. As a graduate of Full Sail University, he is adept to reaching out and placing clients in the proper level of care. Luke has been with 449 Recovery since 2015 and works hard to keep the clients happy and comfortable.
Amber has been with 449 Recovery since 2014 and is the first point of contact for the vast majority of clients. Having graduated from University of California, Irvine with her Bachelor’s in Literary Journalism she is also a key part of the marketing and public relations team. Amber prides herself on getting to know every client on a personal level and imparting the family feel to each of them.
Erin has been a part of the 449 family since 2015 and has her hand in many of the behind the scenes projects. She graduated from Wheaton College with her Bachelor’s in Business and Economics and is now pursuing an advanced degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Erin is proud to work at 449 Recovery where the clients are always put first.
Christian joined the 449 Recovery team with a strong background in insurance utilization review. He obtained a certification in paralegal studies from Irvine Valley College and is proud to be part of a company that is all about client well-being and ethical fitness.
Jessica came to 449 Recovery with many years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She received her associates degree from Saddleback College and is happy to be part of a company that is family operated and places the clients first.
Jason is an integral part of the 449 Recovery operations department. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Phoenix, Southern California and his duties range from tech help to medical liaison with our psychiatrist. Jason is proud to work for a company that emphasizes the fun of sobriety.
Mena joined the 449 Recovery team in 2015 and is a vital part of the operations department. Her responsibilities include processing urinalysis specimens and is a liaison between the laboratory and 449 Recovery. Mena is pleased to work for a company that is family owned and operated and dedicated to client care.
Micah has been part of the 449 Recovery team since 2015 and is a part of the transportation department. He is happy to be part of the family environment and is proud of how caring staff is toward clients.
David is a key role of the 449 Recovery transportation department and has been with the company since 2015. After attending University of Nevada, Las Vegas, David served our country in the United States Air Force as a chemical biological radiological nuclear tech. He is glad to be a part of a team that has a level a care that is personal to each client and they show it with their approach and to work in a place where each person is not just a number but a human being with individual needs that is given hope by the example of the staff and the care the staff provides.
Shannan plays a vital role in the 449 Recovery transportation department. She graduated from Cerritos Cosmetology College and spent many years as a cosmetologist. Shannan is a proud graduate of the 449 Recovery program and is grateful for the hard work the counselors put in to every client.
Jon is an important member of the 449 Recovery transportation team and joined us in early 2016. Jon found his passion for helping others after working in a juvenile detention center and enjoys watching someone finally turn the corner and grow in their sobriety. He is an alumni of the 449 program and is proud to work with a company that promotes change and saves lives.
Ricardo joined the 449 Recovery family in early 2016. After completing the program himself in 2015 he is proud to be part of the company that changed his life. Ricardo looks forward to coming to work each day knowing he can help others overcome the same struggles he faced in early recovery.
