Director of Patient Care

Thurman Hines

Thurman has been in the field for many years and obtained his certification through Saddleback Valley Human Services Department. He ensures the clients at 449 Recovery get the individualized care they deserve as well as helps them gain deeper understanding of their addiction. Thurman is an important part of the transformation of all of the 449 clients.

Lauren Channels

Lauren joined the 449 Recovery team in 2015 and is a vital part of the clinical team. She earned her Bachelors in Human Development from California State University, San arcos as well as her certification for drug and alcohol counseling through Saddleback Valley Human Services Department. Walking with clients through early recovery is important to Lauren as well as being a part of the family dynamics at 449 Recovery.

Case Manager

Therese Coppi

Therese earned her Bachelors in Human Development with an emphasis on Mental Health at California State University, Fullerton and is also a member of the California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators. As a case manager at 449 Recovery it is important to her to listen to clients and understand their situation as well as to be fair, faithful, and truthful to every client.

Gary Hazama

Gary has been in the field for many years and is a valued asset to our 449 Recovery clinical team. He is a member of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals and holds a CAADC II. Gary is proud of the opportunities 449 Recovery affords clients, whether they choose to get sober now or not.

Darin Minasian

Darin has been with 449 Recovery since 2013 and is a key player of the clinical team. After obtaining his drug and alcohol counseling certification he went on to pursue his Associates degree at Cypress College. Darin appreciates the freedom he has with 449 Recovery to work with clients as he sees fit and the diversity in both staff and the client population.

Jacqueline Knaup

Jacqueline is an invaluable member of the 449 Recovery clinical team. After graduating with her BA in Psychology from Biola University she went on to earn her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University. She’s experienced in community mental health, residential adolescent mental health and addiction recovery. Her passion is people and considers it a privilege to be a part of each client’s process of healing and growth here at 449 Recovery.

Kendall Hopkins

Kendall has been with 449 Recovery since 2014 and is a key component of the clinical team. She obtained her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Family Studiesand is ompleting her advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Kendall enjoys working at 449 Recovery because of the strong sense of community and inclusiveness.

Amanda Hobart

Amanda joined the 449 Recovery clinical team in early 2014 with 4 years of counseling experience. She received her drug and alcohol counseling certification from Intercoast College in 2010. Amanda loves working for a company that is a tight knit family and providesthat home away from home for its clients.

Assistant Clinical Director

Kenneth Hobart

Kenny has been part of the 449 Recovery team since 2014 and quickly assumed the role of Assistant Clinical Director. He obtained his certification through Inter-coast College in 2006 and has been counseling for the past 10 years. Kenny is proud to work for a company that is determined to provide the best care possible for their clients.

Tracey Kane

After receiving her certification through Saddleback College in 2013, Tracey joined the 449 Recovery clinical team. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology at California State University, Fullerton and has plans to continue her education and get an advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Tracey is happy to work at 449 Recovery and be a part of the family atmosphere.
